Jackie Charnley
Creator of The Charnley Collective and Co-Founder of the 46 year-old firm, Charnley & Røstvold, Inc.
Jackie is a pioneer and innovative specialist in management, marketing and communications consulting, dedicated to helping asset management firms grow. At Charnley & Røstvold, she worked with over 300 investment firms, primarily in the institutional investment community, ranging from start-ups such as Dimensional Fund Advisors, Kopernik Global Advisors and ARK Investment Management to well-established multi-trillion-dollar firms. Jackie is a speaker, author, change agent, strategic partner and mentor. She served as a board member for eight years and as Investment Committee Chair at ICMA-RC (now MissionSquare Retirement). A successful leader and avid team player, Jackie is gifted at building and maintaining diverse relationships. Michael Dalis, CFA

Michael also honed his facilitation and coaching skills as a master sales trainer with Richardson, one of the world’s leading sales training companies. Prior to joining Richardson, Michael spent more than 20 years with State Street Global Advisors. He built, developed, and managed a team of professionals covering sales, relationship management, and client support.

Michael earned his B.S. and M.B.A. from Syracuse University and is pursuing an M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Harvard University.
Kris Detwiler, CFA, CPA

Kris Detwiler has more than 25 years of marketing experience in the financial services industry. Prior to founding Detwiler Associates, Kris was Vice President of Client Service at Independence Investments, a $30 billion quantitative asset management firm. Earlier in her career, she was an institutional equity salesperson for Fidelity Investments and an institutional fixed-income salesperson for Goldman Sachs.
Kris graduated with highest distinction from the University of Virginia with a BS in Accounting. She received her MBA from Dartmouth’s Amos Tuck School of Business Administration. Kris is both a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Public Accountant.
Darcy A. Flanders

Jock McQuilkin, CFA

Jock has long been known as a skilled conversationalist with an innate skill for talking with and listening to investors to identify their fundamental needs and challenges. He founded Connecting Successfully so that his clients and those of The Charnley Collective can benefit from his discussions on their behalf.
Jock has more than 40 years of experience in the institutional investment management arena – as a securities analyst, portfolio manager and marketer. He co-founded Cadence Capital Management when he and his co-partner were lifted by Pacific Mutual Life from a Boston asset management firm to start a long-only, quantitatively driven aggressive equity shop focusing on small cap, SMID and large cap portfolios. Of the four firms funded by PFAMCO (Pacific Financial Asset Management Company) in the late 80s , Cadence was considered to be the most successful startup.
In the industry, Jock was known as “Mr. Outside.” He was responsible for identifying, developing and garnering pension fund, endowment and foundation clients. Jock is passionate about cold calling. He has been a frequent speaker on the subject of cold calls and how best to engage prospects.
Jock is a former Board member and served as a past Treasurer of AIMSE, and was a member of the Frank Russell Advisory Board.
He received a B.A. degree in American History from Hobart College and a graduate degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management focusing on Spanish and international marketing. Jock was class valedictorian.
Paul F. Olschwanger

Leveraging 35 years in asset management, Paul is committed to helping firms achieve balance and protect profit, by developing human potential differently. Before founding Wendell Rhoads Consulting, he led Olschwanger Partners, where he focused on complex executive searches. Most recently, while at Aon, he provided senior-level support for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and human capital development. There he mentored over 300 investment professionals globally. He also served on numerous internal and external boards, including the CEO Advisory Council of The Diversity Project North America, and North America Inclusion Council.
Paul earned a BBA in Finance degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He completed the first AIMSE Investment Institute, Investments, and Marketing Program at The Wharton School, and earned a graduate certification in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Purdue University.
A long-time board member of the CFA Society in Dallas-Ft. Worth, he hosts their flagship podcast. He sits on the Texas Leadership Council of Positive Coaching Alliance, as well as the Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Board for the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA). He previously served on the board of the Parkinson Voice Project and is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, American Psychological Association, and CFA Institute.
Jillian Rudman

Jillian is the founder of J Rudman & Associates, a sales and strategy consulting firm. Drawing on her graduate degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and extensive coach training through Co-Active® Training Institute (CTI), Jillian helps leaders, teams, and organizations build the capability to transform into thriving versions of themselves – so they can deliver compelling presentations, drive business development, and make a meaningful impact in the world. Jillian earned her CPCC accreditation in 2023, which is respected worldwide as the gold standard of coaching. Recognizing the importance of fitness and its impact on mental clarity and physical well-being, Jillian has been an individual and group fitness trainer since 1987. Outside of her coaching work, she is working on “patient parenting” at home to the bemusement of her rambunctious pre-teen daughter. As a member of the Charnley & Røstvold team since 1998, Linda is committed to providing the firm’s clients with exceptional client service, a commitment she brings to The Charnley Collective. She is responsible for overseeing client relationships, as well as research, project management, administrative functions and firmwide communications. Her strengths are written communications – editing and writing – and creating and maintaining processes that create efficiencies in managing business administrative functions, client relationships, and overall project management.
Linda was a member of PAICR (Professional Association for Investment Communications Resources) for more than 15 years, serving as a member of the Communications Committee, Annual Conference Planning Committee, and facilitated roundtables and workshops at conferences and regional events. Linda was the co-chair of the 14th Annual Conference.
Sally M. Stalcup

Sally Stalcup is a communications and marketing consultant with over 27 years of experience in the asset management industry. Sally’s career reflects a demonstrated track record of bringing expertise, skill, and a distinct approach to presentation and leadership coaching to her clients. Since launching Stalcup Consulting in 2007, she has developed and implemented messaging and positioning strategies with leading and emerging asset and fund managers, as well as investment consultant firms. Sally is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. She currently serves on the board and leads the professional development committee at Titan Capital Management, California State University, Fullerton. She also is a member of and serves as a grant committee chair for IMPACT Giving, Laguna Beach, CA.
Anthony E. Wilkins, CFA

Tony is a longtime active investor, mentor and executive coach to startup founders. Wilkins has mentored entrepreneurs through the Polsky Exchange at the University of Chicago, the Garage at Northwestern University, 1871 (Chicago’s leading Technology & Entrepreneurship Center), and The Junto Institute. His professional experiences include serving as a Relationship Executive at BNY Mellon, based out of Chicago, Illinois, where he was responsible for ensuring the satisfaction of multi-billion dollar, domestic corporate, public and not-for-profit pension and endowment plan trustees. He has also played instrumental roles as part of Hyde Park Angels, a 100+ member angel investment organization active in the Healthcare, IT, Business and Financial Services and Consumer Services.
Wilkins’ work as a Senior Vice President at Northern Trust Asset Management for fifteen years gave him deep experience in institutional asset management sales focused on consultant relations and crafting solutions to financial challenges facing large corporations.
His early career included working as an engineer on software and firmware projects, leading the design, development, documentation, testing and implementation of airborne anti-submarine detection systems.
Wilkins is married with three children and is an avid tennis player and long-distance cyclist.
He sits on the boards of TraknProtect and Mile 1 as well as the Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology. Very active in the early stage community, he holds office hours for founders, meetings with portfolio leaders and sessions with clients when he’s not cycling, sailing, kiting or spending time with family.
